Chignon

Favoring a countertrend to the company’s classic design aesthetic, but nonetheless managing to be simple and informal, the new Chignon armchair concept is defined by equal measures of softness and lightness, with a subtle retro feel. The bentwood frame is designed to contain and define the concave chair, acting as a support for the comfortable, voluminous seat and agreeably plump backrest between two beech wood scrolls – a GTV style classic par excellence – resembling a kind of coiffure. The result is intentionally feminine in form, not slender and delicate but shapely and voluptuous, with an intensely iconic presence perfect for defining any domestic space, but also for creating a relaxing atmosphere in a work environment.
