Alltubes Cabinet Low

ALLTUBES cabinet low is part of Muller Van Severens latest series ALLTUBES, a new series of objects consisting of round aluminium tubes. Playing with rhythm and repetition of round shapes, surface and light , the series includes several cabinets, a bench and a chair and thus forms a family of objects with the same genes. There are no hinges, rivets or door openings visible, they dissolve or visually disappear in the circuits of the round aluminium profiles. This makes the design more like volumes, a kind of mysterious plinths, stripped off the front, back or side, becoming free-standing objects in the space, characters in a setting.
